Earlier in the week I had been watching closely the news regarding the health of Levon Helm. I decided that I wanted to take some time and do a proper tribute to Levon who is one of my heroes, so I will do that next week. I did steal some air time prior to my usual show and spun over an hour of Band and Levon material, and I also capped off the show with one of my favorite tracks from The Band. Originally we had hoped to have Robert Sarazin Blake in for his second visit with us tonight, but the schedules didn't mesh. Instead, listeners were treated to an encore broadcast of Robert's visit from last year in Henniker. It was the first time for the New London area listeners however. Live music will continue for what has been a crazy month next week with Murray & Falkenau from Ireland.
