As many of you know, at least half of my musical heart still lies in the world of bluegrass. It should be no surprise to anyone that the passing of Mike Auldridge should be recognized by me in a big way this week. Mike passed away on December 29th, just one day shy of his 74th birthday. Tonight's show featured a healthy dose of Mike from his years with The Seldom Scene, Chesapeake, some solo work, and also with his most recent group, Darren Beachley & Legends of the Potomac. I mixed up the sets with some new material and favorites throughout. Here's the show:
