Welcome to Out of the Woods, a 3-hour program of mostly acoustic music which airs live every Friday from 6 to 9 pm e.s.t. locally, and is syndicated on The Global Voice, a station run primarily by blind program hosts, and aimed at bringing together the blind and sighted communities, http://www.theglobalvoice.info - Sundays at 5 pm e.s.t.,  (repeating at 10 pm on Mondays),  early Sunday mornings on BOB-FM, http://www.bob-fm.webs.com/, at 6 am e.s.t., and also Boston Free Radio, http://bostonfreeradio.com/, Sunday at 7 am e.s.t. This week I was happy to welcome singer-songwriter Zak Trojano into the studio.  Zak is not only born and raised in our area, but we also went to the same high school (graduating 13 years apart). We had a good time name-dropping about teachers and town folk.  Zak occasionally returns to our area, but spends most of his time living in western Massachusetts and touring with his band Rusty Belle.  He also tours as a solo act, and has toured in support of both Chris Smither and Jeffrey Foucault.  It was a good time, and Zak even played a couple of new songs, still untitled, as well as many also appearing on his CD 'Two Lines', plus a couple Rusty Belle songs as well.  Here is how it all went down:
